La Planta Cactácea is a brand of jewellery established in 2004 by Laura Murillo.
She launches two new collections every year, all of them sharing the same spirit: to champion the beauty of simple things.
She cares for every piece in every sense. They must be original, wearable, funny, combinable, and they tell you a story; besides its decorative character.
She creates a dialogue between jewels and everyday objects, and at the same time she recovers many other pieces from oblivion. Her packaging shows the same concept.
She works with a metal alloy which has been silver, rhodium and 24K gold plated. Afterwards, the material is coated for sensitive skins, providing a finish of the highest quality.
Her challenge is to keep creativity alive while reinventing her collections season after season. Her jewels are made for people who are looking for affordable accessories that express character.
